Radar Analysis
In addition to forecast and monitored rainfall data, Turfmonitor.com incorporates radar-based precipitation estimates.
Near-real-time radar weather images are provided to growers in Turfmonitor.com's coverage areas as an additional source of information at their disposal when making irrigation scheduling decisions.
Precipitation estimates gleaned from the radar information will also be compared to the actual measurements from rain gauges in the Turfmonitor.com network to determine the accuracy of the radar-based data.
